January is School Board Recognition Month, and a perfect opportunity to acknowledge the dedicated leadership of each of our CUSD Trustees: Lourdes Perez, Hugo Molina, Brian de la Porte, David McConnell, Cynthia Ruiz, Faye Lane, Valli Wigt, and our Student Representatives Delia Rangel and Eduardo Garcia. CUSD's school governance team truly leads with the best interests of students at heart!
Special thanks to Trustee Valli Wigt, who was recognized at last night's Board meeting for her service as Board President over the past year! #TeamCUSD #CeresLearns

The holidays may be past, but Ceres Rotarians are bearing gifts! Every year, Rotary Club of Ceres gifts every CUSD 3rd grader with an illustrated dictionary. We deeply appreciate our partnerships with local service organizations. Ceres Rotary rocks! 🎁📚 #CeresLearns

How we've missed these smiling faces! Welcome back from the winter break. 🥰⛄️☕️ #CeresLearns

Staff participated in professional learning across CUSD campuses today. It's so good to be back! We can’t wait to see students tomorrow, rain or shine. In inclement weather, as always, please exercise caution when driving or walking near school zones. Leaving home a few minutes early can help offset traffic delays and ensure everyone gets safely to and from school.

We hope our students, staff, and families enjoyed happy holidays! School resumes for students on Tuesday, January 10. We can't wait to see you! 🤗 #HurryBack #LotsToLearn #CUSD

Reflecting with gratitude on the year that's passed and ringing in the new year with happy anticipation of good things to come! 🎇 2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣ #HappyNewYear #CeresLearns

Westport Mustangs enjoyed visits from some very special guests when CHS leadership students came bearing gifts, and Ceres Police Department and Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office dropped in for cocoa (and stickers) with a cop! 🥰🎁☕️🚔 #MakingSpiritsBright #CeresLearns

This just in … there has been an early sighting of none other than Santa Claus at Westport Elementary, where Preschool students were excited to hear that they are, in fact, all on the “Nice” list. There was no sign of Santa’s sleigh, but Assistant Director of Transportation Andrew Lopshire was spotted in the area and we’re confident Andrew will make sure the Jolly Old Elf gets safely to his next stop. 🎅🎄🎁🚍 See more photos on our social media pages. #CeresSleighs
